What is an Elm Identity?
Your Elm Identity is the unique identifier that we use to identify and authenticate you into the following Elm Analytics' applications: Numerus™*, Numerus™ Enterprise*,
supplyAware™* and Subscription Management. We use your email address for this identifier because it is guaranteed unique to you and it makes it easy to communicate with
you over the internet. You can manage this value by editing your profile in the supplyAware™ website.
What is Two-Factor Authorization and Why am I Required to Use It?
Two-factor authentication is an extra layer of security for your Elm Identity designed to ensure that you're the only person who can access your supplyAware™ subscription,
even if someone knows your password. After entering your correct password during the login process, the system will send a single-use second factor authentication code to either
your email address (by default) or to your mobile phone via a SMS (text) message. The system will complete your login, only after you correctly enter the auth code and click the
login button a second time.
If you would like to switch the delivery method of your second factor codes, you can edit your user profile in the supplyAware™ website.
Athough it is not completely bullet-proof, we feel that the complexity raised by two-factor authentication is necessary to secure the sensitive data that you store about your
supply chains in the supplyAware™ application.
