Cookie Information for Applications on the elmanalytics.com Domain

What are Cookies and Why Do We Use Them?

When you visit web applications at elmanalytics.com, the webserver asks your browser to store a few small pieces of data (text files) called cookies on your device in order to remember information about you, such as your language preference or site settings. These cookies may be temporary, and last only as long as your web browser is open, or physically stored on your device with an expiration date. Cookies that are set by us are called first-party cookies. Elm Analytics does not use any Third-party cookies.

Your privacy is extreamly important to us! Please note that we DO NOT sell any personal data that is shared with us on any of our web applications and no personal information is shared with any third-party vendor.

I've already accepted your cookies, why is the site asking again?

Your cookie acceptance is stored in your user profile as well as in a cookie on your device (how delightfully ironic). We do our best to remember you betweeen visits, but sometimes things change and we can't remember your choice until you authenticate. If the cookie we put in your browser is deleted, or if you switched browsers, or your IP address changed, the login screen may prompt you to accept our cookies again. If you know you've already done this, simple login to the application as normal and the authentication process will recreate the cookie on your device and any "we use cookies" alerts should disappear again.

For more information about our cookies, please review the following:

Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are necessary for the website to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You can set your browser to block or alert you about these cookies, but that will cause some parts of the site to not work correctly or not function at all. These cookies do not store any unencrypted personally identifiable information (and the only information we do store is limited to your first and last name as well as your user name (email address)).

  • ElmSAGlobalization - This cookie stores your language preference (on your device), so when you come back to this application we remember which language you'd like to see the login page displayed in.
  • ElmPrivacy - This cookie stores your cookie acceptance (on your device) so you don't have to keep seeing the "we use cookies" alert everytime you come back. We set this cookie to expire once per year just so that you are reminded to review our cookie policy (in case something changes).
  • ElmSession - This is an encrypted temporary cookie that stores some information about your logged in session and is used by multiple applications on the elmanalytics.com domain. This allows us to easily use more than one web server to respond to your requests and gives you the performance that you want from our sites. It also makes it so that you don't have to re-login in when you want to switch to a different app on elmanalytics.com. This cookie is temporary and will automatically delete itself when you close your browser.
  • ElmSASession - This is also an encrypted temporary cookie, but it only stores information about your current session with supplyAwareTM.
  • Page_-XXX - These temporary cookies store infomation about your in-app actions and lets the site do things like remember your sorting preference for a given table of information or what filters you have applied to a grid so when you leave a page and then come back to it later, it re-loads the same way that you left it.
  • ASP.NET_SessionId - This temporary cookie is part of Microsoft's .NET functionality. It helps us remember where we stored parts of your experience in the server's memory. Each time you visit us, you'll get a new "SessionId".

Other Third-party vendors (Optional Cookies)

We use several 3rd-party vendors to help us manage your experience with us. These cookies use our domain (elmanalytics.com), but the data in them, may be shared with our vendor to make the functions that we get from them work. Our third party vendors include:

Salesloft - for our engagement platform. These cookies all start with "sli" and may be blocked without any impact on the sites functionality.

Google Analytics - allows us to count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve the performance of our site. They help us to know which pages are the most and least popular and see how users move around the site. If you do not allow these cookies, it just make our job a little bit harder so we ask that you continue to allow them.
